Dragon Tales - Book Review
|
Dragon Tales by Mary C. Fairbanks is truly and entertaining book, chock full of twenty-four dragon stories. Perfect for youth from the age of five to fifteen, even adults would be charmed by its pages. The images are unique and interesting, with a style that left me with the impression they were created on a computer.
Caregivers are likely to find the morals to each story helpful to deal with youth problems with social interaction, self-image, overcoming self-absorption, understanding others and more. The author tackles many issues through her lovable, yet egotistical dragons or even through sad and lonely dragons. She shows the importance of freedom and dictates communities working together to solve problems peacefully. The confusion between the way that dragons and humans view each other in this book will aid against racism. Her characters learn to not passively accept what everyone else believes and live by another's prejudices. Instead, Mary has the characters find out for themselves what is the truth. Often, the young characters have to 'think' their way out of a situation or learn to ask the right questions - rather than fighting it or running away from problems.
I would recommend this fictional, children's book of short stories to anyone, anytime, anywhere.

Product Review: Quick And Easy Ways To Instantly Mine Pure Gold From Wordtracker
The other day I was surfing the net looking for resources relating to WordTracker. WordTracker is, in my opinion, one of the top two market research tools on the net. The problem is that very few people understand how to harness the real power this service provides. Heck, I'm been stuck in their 'Keyword Universe' section for hours? until now.The only resource I could find on harnessing the power of WordTracker was by a man named John Alexander. His book is entitled Quick and Easy Ways to Instantly Mine Pure Gold from WordTracker.Bingo, based on the name alone, I knew this was the book for me! For only $29.95, I couldn't go wrong? or could I?I downloaded the 48 page PDF file and instantly printed it out for my reading pleasure. I finished reading this in a whopping 20 minutes.

Book Review: What Color Is Your Parachute?
What Color is Your Parachute?Reviewed by: Matt KeeganŠ 2003, Matthew C. Keegan, LLCFinding a job today presents unique challenges that did not exist five years ago. That is why Richard Nelson Bolles' acclaimed job hunter's bible, " What Color is Your Parachute?" is so relevant. Taking into consideration the impact of the terrorist attacks of September 21, 2001, the subsequent NASDAQ meltdown, and the globalization of the world's economy, Bolles' guide encourages the reader to implement time tested as well as new strategies in finding meaningful employment. With a subtitle of, "A Practical Manual for Job-Hunters and Career-Changers", Parachute emphasizes the necessity of finding one's "mission" in life in order to obtain meaningful emp...(related: Book Reviews)
